Not every kitchen suits a wrap. Here’s exactly what we can and can’t do — so you don’t waste a single minute.
Flat panel doors
Smooth, flat-fronted doors are the ideal surface. The film bonds cleanly edge-to-edge with a flawless finish that looks indistinguishable from a brand-new factory-finished door.
Shaker style doors
The flat centre panel plus the simple raised frame both wrap beautifully. We handle the corners and edges so the finished result looks completely original.
Grooved or profiled doors
The film cannot conform cleanly to deep routed grooves, ornate raised panels or carved profiles. For these we recommend replacement or professional spray-painting instead — we’ll happily point you in the right direction.

Most small kitchens (10–15 doors) sit between $3,000 and $4,500. Medium kitchens (15–25 doors) run $4,000–$7,000, large kitchens (25+ doors) typically $7,000–$14,000. Bathroom vanities from $900, built-in wardrobes from $1,200, feature walls from $125/m². Use the instant quote tool above for a tighter range based on your actual project. Fixed quotes provided in writing.
Unfortunately no. The film can’t conform to deep routed grooves or profiled raised panels — it would lift over time. We’re upfront about this rather than waste your time. If your doors aren’t suitable, we’ll happily point you toward a quality painter or replacement option.
Profilms uses deep-embossed textures and high-definition print. Most clients (and all their friends) can’t tell the difference without running a hand along the surface. The Glenelg kitchen above is wrapped — what you see is what you get.
Order any 6 swatches from our website for $50 (inc shipping Australia-wide). Peel and stick them onto your existing benchtops, floors and around your lighting so you can see them in your own space before you commit. Once installed the bond is permanent — but small sections can be re-wrapped if you change your mind down the track.
No. There’s no demolition, no dust, no fumes, no noise. We work room-by-room and most kitchens are usable that same evening. You can stay in the house the entire time.
When professionally installed, no. Our product guarantee covers the film for 10 years and our workmanship guarantee covers the install for 2. Resistant to scratches, heat, moisture and standard cleaning products.
Yes — small flat projects (a single door, a feature panel) are doable for confident DIYers and we sell the film online with free shipping. For kitchens, wardrobes or anything with corners, we strongly recommend professional install — that’s what activates the guarantees.
Honestly? Two things. (1) It doesn’t work on grooved or heavily-profiled doors — see above. (2) Real timber and real stone do exist as alternatives, and if you want either of those rather than a faithful film replication, you should buy them. For everyone else, vinyl wrap is faster, cheaper, less wasteful, and visually indistinguishable in the finished result.
